Wausau Area Finance and Investment Challenge Bowl Tournament
The FICB is a study program for high school students, teaching topics such as economics, college preparation and financing options, credit, insurance, current events, and investing.

Participants form teams of four students and visit www.ficbonline.org and www.mygreatlakes.org to study and take practice quizzes.

The program culminates in a live, college-bowl-format tournament, complete with a buzzer system, celebrity moderator, and panel of judges. We reward all students who participate with US Savings Bonds, book store gift certificates, stored-value cards, or the like. Students on the first- and second-place teams receive prizes of greater value as an incentive to excel and are invited to join the statewide final round that will be held in May 2011, to compete against the winners of other regional tournaments.

The 2011 Wausau Regional tournament will be held at Northcentral Technical College (Wausau Campus).
